Today is also my brother’s birthday–happy birthday!
I decided to start off by selling typewritten poems by themselves, typed on various kinds of paper. I chose several popular ones, a few unpopular ones that are actually my favorites, and a couple unknowns. The fun part will be pressing poetry onto different types of material. Besides decorative poetry, hello eira will be curating other literary arts & craft that are inspired by everyday magics.
You can purchase a Mounted copy, which has the option of being mounted on card stock, canvas, or black board.
You can also personalize poetry (Limited Edition). You’ll receive a customized poem simply for you.
Free Typewriter Poetry Poem for Readers
From today until Friday, I’ll be posting new items at hello eira each morning. I figure it’s a nice way to stagger inventory.
As a thank you for your curiosity, insight, and kind words over the years, I’d like to send you a free poem.
You can wait until all the poems are up at the end of the week to choose which poetry you’d like sent to you. Use the coupon TYPEWRITER2015 (expires January 7th 2015) and get a $7.50 discount off your total purchase at checkout. There is a catch: you’d still have to pay for shipping, because that’s how Etsy’s system works.
ADAM said her limbs were baiting him. pulled by quicksand lips. her hair--ensnaring men--a net that kept him out of light.
I’m a fan of the logo <3
I feel like I still have to get the photography down so that it mirrors the theme of the shop, but the pictures came out nice.
“Adam” is a poem that has constantly been rewritten; I’m okay with everything except how the ending comes across…although sometimes I think I like how jarring it is just because its the abruptness caters to the narrative. Anyway! Feel free to shoot me an email or post a comment sharing your thoughts, I’m curious to know what you think.
