I get a lot of gifts back from the people I gift poems to. Some are tangible, others are not. This one I kept on my wall for the longest time…finally I decided to photograph and share it with everyone else. One of my favorites. Thanks, Tammy!

Rose hips–
(and the earth words
from your lips)–
steep both in hot water,
consume,
raise both in a garden–
let bloom.
